Most of us have our difficulties and challenges to test us, but how would we react to major trauma? How might we cope? What might be the lasting impact?
These questions and more are explored in a story about the impact of serious crime on a law abiding family whose orderly lives were disrupted and sent into chaos. It explores some difficult and sensitive issues and follows the story of the impact on the family through the incident, the police investigation, trial and subsequent events.
It may have a resonance with some of those who have suffered. It may even help, at least by exploring the impact on victim’s of crime more openly. The family experience pain and tragedy, but most of all it is a story of hope and ultimately of RECOVERY.
