Book 8 MISSING is out

Book 8 MISSING a collection of ten short stories on contemporary issues is now available on Amazon or directly through me. This project has taken far longer than usual to come to fruition, with the impact of Covid-19 playing a part. It also contains some wider personal comment on criminal justice. As such it is a substantial volume priced at £10.
As always, comments on review formats, the website or direct to me are welcome. I hope you enjoy it.

Impact of Covid-19

Unfortunately the impact of the coronavirus virus has led to the postponement or cancellation of most of my planned 2020 programme. Such is life, I accept it and hope we come through this challenge as best we can. My focus has changed to writing short articles and items to boost morale with the inevitable humour that comes with hard times. I wish you all well.

Repton Literary Festival 2019

The Repton Literary Festival 2019 was a great success, featuring a wide variety of presenters from the creative worlds of writing, poetry and music. Plans are in hand to repeat the event around the same time during half term in October every year. Do come along to hear the experiences of authors writing in different genres, hear poetry reading and listen to live music in a magnificent setting. Chris enjoyed the opportunity to share some thoughts in such a prestigious event.

Upcoming Events

Chris will be speaking at the Repton Literary Festival this weekend 25/6/7th of October on his experience of writing, publishing & marketing his own books. The event offers a wide variety on interesting speakers.
Chris will also be appearing at the Christmas Market at the Polish club in Stafford on Saturday afternoon 9th November, at the Lichfield Christmas Fayre on Sunday 1st December and Stafford street market on Thursday 12th December. Signed copies of all his books will be available at each event.

Autumn to Christmas events

I am planning a series of events including talks, a murder mystery, a festival and Christmas markets, so look out for local publicity. I’ll post details nearer the time.
I’m pleased to announce that the release of Book 7 ‘An Island Life’ is imminent, completing the recent trilogy featuring Emma and Rory.
The next book will be a series of short stories covering a variety of themes.
Chris.

Jan 2019 Latest Books

After taking a break from writing I’m very pleased to announce that I have completed the final draft of book 6 The Welsh Boys and sent it to the publisher. So that should be out later this year.
Continuing the story of Rory and Emma I have started Book 7 An Island Life as the third and final part of this trilogy. I anticipate that being my last book, so watch out for developments. It will probably be out next year!
Thank you for your continued support.
