With support from Titanic Brewery Chris has ordered two new display units to accompany him on events and talks.
Completion of the Stafford street market yesterday marked the end of a concentrated pre Christmas effort to sell and promote the books, with attendance at a literary festival, 2 talks to local groups and 4 Christmas markets. During which I sold books across the whole range of the 7 published so far, made some useful contacts and met some wonderful people, including many old friends. A success I think !
The Repton Literary Festival 2019 was a great success, featuring a wide variety of presenters from the creative worlds of writing, poetry and music. Plans are in hand to repeat the event around the same time during half term in October every year. Do come along to hear the experiences of authors writing in different genres, hear poetry reading and listen to live music in a magnificent setting. Chris enjoyed the opportunity to share some thoughts in such a prestigious event.

Chris has met up with John Connolly an artist based in Bolsover in Derbyshire to paint an original cover for Book 7 ‘An Island life’ depicting the imagery of an island featured in the book off the coast of Anglesey. This book is due out next year.
Literary festivals
Chris will be attending the Harrogate crime writers festival in July and speaking at the Repton literary festival in October.
I’m pleased to announce the release of Book 6 The Welsh Boys, which continues the story of Emma and Rory and is the second book of a trilogy.
I will be launching the book at The Sun Inn Stafford on Wednesday 22nd May from 6pm.

The Howell brothers hail from a poor and deprived family background in Porthmadog in North Wales. Positive influences try to steer them away from criminality.
Despite this and the merits of involvement in sport with its discipline and team spirit the boys struggle to stay on the right side of the law.
